What I’ve Illustrated This Month

I made this logo for my future podcasts. Think of a really long message left on an answering machine from the 90s from your quirky college friend/obsessed dahlia grower. That’s probably what it’d be like. Don’t worry. It won’t be that long. Answering machines run out of tape eventually.

Full disclosure: Future podcasts will happen only after I get the majority of my growing guides and resources written and published. I want to make sure readers are able to reference the information they need by the time dahlia season starts.

I’m working on a series of illustrations based on dahlias I grew in 2021.

I loved this when I finished it but now I think I like this one better…

January and February are long, dark, and cold but the glass is half full. The garden’s asleep and I have time for my favorite wintertime trifecta: reading, writing, and art.
